My artwork is heavily influenced by my travels. Throughout my childhood my visual sense was exposed to diverse cultures, since my family lived in Egypt, Borneo, Singapore, France and Spain, due to my father's career as a deep-sea explorer. At the age of seven I moved to a beautiful hamlet overlooking the Mediterranean Sea on the Italian Riviera, Bordighera, where the impressionist painter Monet lived for many years, inspired by the beauty of the area.

Growing up in such a place provided me the chance to admire the art of the world at museums in Rome, Florence, Venice, Paris and Barcelona, cities only few hours away from mine. This made art and design my main interests. I chose to study architecture, because it has always been the highest form of art for me: beauty, function and meaning all intersect in one magnificent sculpture that becomes part of a living city.

About six years ago I left Italy with the intent of broadening my perspectives, and have been traveling ever since. At first I studied and worked in France in the field of urban design, then worked as an architect, interior designer, and digital artist in Europe and in United States.

During my life I have been a very passionate designer, always curious to discover new forms of expression. Now I am a very passionate instructor, with the great desire to be inspiring and stimulating to my students.
