George Jercich has taught classes in 3-Dimensional Design, sculpture, drawing, and various process oriented disciplines in the art of glass making. As a former graduate of San Jose State University (MFA in 1984), he has traveled and exhibited extensively in the USA and abroad in such places as Germany, the Czech Republic, and most recently in Southeast Asia/Thailand.

"Thematic of the lore of the sea and seafarers, I like to think of each piece of glass and mixed media sculpture as a kind of voyager's story. Sometimes, I blow a vessel into a bottle's form as a container to refer to something about the sea."
