He teaches photography, video and computer graphics. He created and taught Cal Poly's first interactive computer graphics class in 1979. Robert's work can be found in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, the Corcoran Gallery, and numerous private collections. During the past three years, Robert has written three books on special effects, interactive computer graphics, and video production (Prentice Hall, Pub.).
When he's not teaching, writing, or shooting, Bob spends his free time working in the studio doing fine woodworking, precision machining, and restoring historic Harley Davidson motorcycles. "Writing and computing are great," he says, "but a person should also be able to create with his or her hands in the real three dimensional world."
