I've recently accepted a full time position as a junior designer at Active Ingredients as a web desinger. I currently live north of San Francisco and I enjoy the company i work for. They are very talented and a fun group to work with. Also, I will soon be featured in HOW magazine for the design of the 2007 volume of Byzantium.

After backpacking in Europe for two months and much needed post-graduation relaxation, I accepted a full time position at a small studio in Salt Lake City, called Skogen Group. Not my top-of-the-list cities to live in, but the company is great and we have an awesome synergy together which makes me excited for our recent new projects. Even in my short time of being here, I have learned a ton due to our team of four (you can do amazing things w/ a small group of unique and creative people!). Also, I'm now venturing down a path to become an interactive hybrid designer. Other than that, I'm looking forward to eventually hitting the amazing slopes here in Utah. I'm still working at the job I held while at school (http://remilon.com) but I've become not only their primary designer but also specializing in website optimization and analytics. Since graduation, I've also attended several web conferences and become a web standards evangelist. I've been working on increasing my profile in the web industry and have had a couple small speaking engagements at local meetup groups. In September, I took a national designer position at the House of Blues/Live Nation corporate office in Hollywood. I work closely with all the venues and get to work on cool projects with great people. After graduating in December, I immediately started work for Burton Snowboards. I worked as an assistant for about 6 mo.(designing board graphics, apparel and accessories). When I thought I learned all I could, I left Burton to work for New Era caps in Irvine Ca. I have been here for about 17 months working in the action sports division. I am doing really well and meeting a lot of people. I am trying to build a name for myself. In the meantime, I have been freelancing doing anything from board graphics, apparel, and so on. I have worked with many key brands and celebrities such as; Travis Barker, Rob Dyrdek, Renee Renee, Barry Bonds, Ryan Shecklar, Twitch, Deegan, Reggie Bush, and Cary Hart, just to name a few. All in all, I am doing well.

Since graduating in '06, I've been working in the in-house design department of Chevron Corporation. We do a lot of building and internal branding and the work is a lot more diverse than you might guess! I round out everything with the occasional healthy dose of freelance work as well. I'm enjoying my job, as well as my recent marriage in May of '07 to Jess, an '05 Cal Poly grad. Miss you all!

Jill was a huge influence on my work at Cal Poly, so working for her has already been a great experience.
