This past year I have moved 5 times, lived in 3 different states, traveled around Europe, gotten married, started my own company, and became an aunt. A busy year! Right out of CalPoly I went to work for Central Coast Magazine in Grover Beach. I stayed there until February and then moved back east to plan my wedding. In order not to go insane with wedding planning, I started Allison Jantos Design and have since enjoyed numerous projects including promotional posters, wine label illustrations and designs, car graphics and corporate logo design. I continue to freelance while working at Onvia in Seattle, WA where I now live! Seattle is wonderful, the people are friendly and the sushi is amazing! Life couldn't be better.

I quit my job and joined the Marines, where I'm currently creative director. I just design whatever needs to be designed, maybe shoot some hoops on my lunch break. Haven't met anyone famous yet, but Connecticut is cool. Maybe. Can't really say exactly where I live since I'm not allowed to.

I moved to San Francisco after graduating in December with plans of acquiring a job at a firm. Shortly thereafter I got sidetracked with a rather large freelance job for a startup high-end furnishings/furniture company. The job has involved the branding of two companies, a website, and a catalog. It's been a really great learning experience. I plan on staying in San Francisco and seeing if I can keep up the pace of doing more interesting freelance work, and if not... break down a find myself a design firm job with a boss.

Since leaving Poly I've worked as an interactive designer for a small design shop and also took on the insane task of all things design at a web startup. I'm now spending most my time as Senior Designer at Tuft and Co., a small but growing interactive design agency in San Francisco. Will soon be moving to NYC with the company. I know spend another good chunk of time working on my new design publication/blog-like site. Do check it out: www.notforpaper.com

Not terribly long after graduating, I made a semi-insane decision and took a job in Napa at a highly-regarded wine label / packaging firm (who shall remain nameless), commuting 185 miles EACH DAY from my house in Sunnyvale. Needless to say it lasted a month. Not too much longer after leaving them, almost a year to the day, I landed a job working at the NVIDIA Corporation as a design peep in their creative group, comfortably nestled amongst the marketing folks. Right from the get-go it's been an exciting ride. Loving the coworkers and the work. Who knew working for a corporation could have been this good? Living in downtown Campbell (it’s next to San Jose and Los Gatos) with Art Dept Alum Philip Sheffield as one of my roomies. Of course the freelancing still continues too – can never get enough of that (but just when time permits).

Currently living in Nob Hill in San Francisco, been here for over two years and love it. Tried the fashion industry at first and hated it. I've now been at Time Inc. magazines now for almost a year. Currently working for Fortune, Money, CNNMoney.com and the recently closed Business2.0. Working on the sales side currently and thinking about making the move to New York to jump to the creative side. We'll see...

After working in San Francisco as an assistant photo editor for a year, I spent this past summer in Hollywood to get a feel for the area in preparation for moving there for graduate school. I am currently in the process of applying to MFA programs for film & digital media, and presumably will be spending the next 3-4 years in LA. I'm also setting up a graphic design company with April Syrek (graduated 2004). We call ourselves Onyx Atlas Design, and as of September 2006, we are officially open for business. Visit our website.

Situated in Seattle, playing in the park, eating unhealthily, listening to Blondie, thinking about the looks of earth from a plane, worrying about my plants, wanting a bike, enjoying the crisp mornings, designing your purchases.

Two weeks after graduating, I married Peter Uzzi (A&D, Class of '06). We've been married over three years now and live with our two kitties by the beach in Oceano. We loved the SLO life so much, we couldn't leave and it's been great staying in the area. I'm currently the Art Director for The Parable Group, an international Christian bookstore franchise who's headquarters is in SLO. I design and direct catalogs with a circulation of over 1 million, as well as handle various web, advertising, Point-of-Purchase and print design projects. If you're ever back in the area, look us up!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Other than regaining my sanity, learning about Hep C and other things. I'm actually working at Curran & Connors as a full-time designer, I got the job 2 days before graduation and been there since. It has been great, the learning and the work. The main concentration of designs that I work on are for Annual Reports for major companies all over the country. What else to say...oh yeah, and getting used to having weekends again, so this what it's like to have a saturday and sunday off. Amazing. I have no clue as to what else to say, other than if anyone wants to get a hold of me to chat or to do whatever, hit me up on my e-mail! THE RED FOX RUNS OVER THE GREEN AC CORD!!!

Living in LA where I'm currently working as a photo assistant, although I'm branching out into videography, shooting a documentary film about Metal Skool, a spoof metal cover band performing at the Key Club, under the direction of Marty Callner and Randy Gladstein. I've also been involved in different video projects doing production assisting. While that pays the rent, I'm looking for different projects to feed the soul.

Since returning to Los Angeles, my time has been taken up with artist lectures, studio visits, and of course the production of work in my studio in the MFA program at Claremont Graduate University. Aside from studio practice, I am continually at work creating a renaissance of wonder in various ways:::::
