Todd (hubby) and I just moved back to California (after living in Boston for 5 years). I was able to bring my job with me. I work full time (from home) for a small advertising firm based in Boston. Print Ads, logos, web banners, brochures, etc, etc...it's a good situation, although my "dream" job would have been working for WETA Digital for the past few years! So glad I had a chance to live on the East Coast, I'm sorely missing the city life. Going to Rome next month for another dose of Europe, can't wait. No kids yet, but trying....we shall see. :)

Until two weeks ago (today being may 9), I was the Graphics Manager of the in-house design department at MobilePlanet. I had been there for almost five years, directing and evolving their brand. Unfortunately, new shareholders took over and decided that they did not need a graphics department anymore (insert any nasty remark here). Now, I find myself back on the market, trying to decide where I want to go next. If anyone can help a sister out... she would be happy.

After moving to Los Angeles to further my career as designer and to try luck out as illustrator, I injected myself into the LA "underground" art scene and quickly worked my way up the ranks. I currently show my paintings in galleries around world, and have produced several toys inspired by my work.

Hi there! After I graduated I worked a couple of years at The San Mateo Times, and thought that I needed some balance in my Loves so I started a landscaping business. I continued to landscape while creating greeting cards for a watercolorist in San Francisco. Wow! Life is going by fast! Got married, had two Children (3 yrs, 8 mos) But while my graphics & art is suffering, I'm balancing the wonders of having children. I am looking for freelance work in my spare time to keep that inner artist happy. Good luck to all of you !

I spent a year in Phoenix, Arizona designing a new sports complex, mostly doing space planning and furniture design. Then I went to SF do the same but ended up doing construction and cabinet installations. For some reason I loved that more than graphic design. After a year there I moved back to San Diego and started building and project managing for a couple different cabinet companies in town. Finally in 2002 I opened my own shop. I have a great reputation around town for my work so I actually build furniture and reception desks for other shops. I now have a 2500sqft facility with one full-time employee. I have been happily married for three years now and our first child is on its way. Once again life is about to change for the better!

After graduation I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and worked at some design firms and in-house design departments. These include: BGDI, Enterprise IG (now Brand Union), Industrial Light & Magic, Icon Estates and Turner Duckworth. I spent the last six years at Turner Duckworth as a Design Director up until 2008, were I left to start my own design firm, Thermostat. Also got married in 2006 and now live in Berkeley.

Globetrotting. My running theme before I take the commit to being an adult...which really should be happening soon... Was freelancing with the Gap in SF for a while...then teaching graphic design in Huizhou, China, and since 2000, I have been working as an adventure travel guide with Berkeley, CA based Backroads (www.Backroads.com), which has lead me to many multi-faceted, non-graphic design related experiences in Italy, Ecuador, Hawaii, and the Grand Tetons... Currently taking a 1 year hiatus and am teaching English in Japan. My husband (Ryon Rosvold, a fellow tour guide) and I will be returning to Italy with Backroads in May. So if you're ever in Tuscany May-October, drop us a line! By fall 2007, we hope to be settling down in Portland...

You can check out my work at my website, or if you're in SLO, you may see some of logos around town.

Moved back to Los Angeles after graduating, got a job as a wardobe intern on a Disney movie, fell in love with it and now six years later I am still working in fashion as a stylist for television, film and print. Miss taking pictures but I have to admit I take a damn good fitting polaroid.
