I worked at an Advertising Agency in San Luis Obispo for 4 years after graduation. I then moved to CMP Media in San Francisco where I was Associate Art Director of New Architect magazine. When the magazine closed down in February 2003, I moved to the Lake Tahoe area to become a snowboard bum on unemployment! But now, as of November 2003, I am starting a new job as a Graphic Artist at the local newspaper, the Sierra Sun. Any buddies I've lost touch with should feel free to send me an email.

In an interesting turn of events, I've started up another business outside of the design field, selling vintage comic books on eBay. What started out as a part-time hobby has grown into a full-time business for me. I'm posting about 200-300 ads per week and business is growing. There's a lot happening here in San Francisco. The 1000 Journals Project is being exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art through April 5, 2009, so if you're in the area, be sure to check it out. For those of you unfamiliar, I started 1000 Journals back in August of 2000, and it's culminated in a book, a documentary was filmed about it, and now this exhibition. In my spare time I run Altitude, a small creative agency that helps consumer brands engage people through inspiration. We work on programs with Apple, Adidas, Chronicle Books, and so on. Finally, I'm also president of the San Francisco Chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design.

Working for a newspaper in the South Bay of LA, called Daily Breeze, that is a great place for photographers as we cover the going-ons in LA. Other than that; amazingly still married, not amazingly still broke, live by the beach and happy.
