Amazingly enough, I've worked as a graphic designer in all the years since graduation. Can it really be 11? After three marketing firms, one advertising agency, and a two year stint as a freelance designer in technical theatre, I've landed at Apple. Woohoo!

I am currently living in Sonoma County enjoying life with my husband Dennis (we married at Seascape in Aptos in 2001) and our two sweet sons Connor (born in June of 2003) and Liam (born in July of 2005). After years of living in San Francisco and loving it and designing wine labels for a design firm downtown, I am now designing within the field of Environmental and Architectural Graphics for a firm here in Sonoma County. Our projects extend from Macao Studio City (China) to Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. We also do work in Hawaii, Mexico, Costa Rica and soon Jordan. The work is exciting, the team is inspiring and my two sons and husband complete the circle. I am a proud Cal Poly Alum so if any of you are in the area, come on by!

Do you need your website on page 1 of a Google search? Contact PageUp Search Engine Optimization and we can put you there. www.pageupseo.com My only advice for graduates came from the immortal words of my favorite CPSLO instructor and legendary Life Magazine photographer, Mark Kauffman. During a late night poker game at Matt’s house, I asked Mark what would he do if he was about to graduate from Cal Poly. He replied, pharmaceutical sales. I am still in Santa Fe, NM with my wife and 2 kids. Great town, if you bring your own job.

I've been living and working up in the SF Bay Area as a commercial photographer for quite a while now.. Interestingly enough, I've discovered that I enjoy teaching and have taught photography in high school for 2 years as well. I'm now excited to complete a Masters in Instructional Technology at SFSU in order to teach creative concepts digitally either in the high school or college levels. Good stuff! :-)
