My tale of 3 cities. 90: 1 more yr in SLO @ PRD. 90-95: @ LA big accts. Found niche art dir+proj mgmt. Met wife2B. 96-now: @Stuttgart. 100+ mph (yeah) Autobahn, 40 days vacation, live @ hub of Europe=perks that made it easy to say adios (summers tough being land-locked w/out good burrito). Was cool 4 years leading Porsche.com concepts & design. Nestlé’s biggest brands keep me busy today. Nice balance is client who makes designer faucets & showers. Enjoying working & raising family in place where design & culture overlap. Still think fondly on yrs in Bldg 34 & thank ALL Art & Design profs/staff for sharing knowledge & enthusiasm. For 17 years continue to rely on many things learned in/out of class for work w/ clients & colleagues. Dec. 07

I have been living in New York City for the past 3 years. I work for Robert A.M. Stern Architects and made my debut in the fall of 2004 at New York City Opera. I sang the roles of Yvette in La Rondine by Puccini and Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro by Mozart. I just recently got engaged and plans are underway for a June 2005 wedding.

After graduating I took a position in a label printing manufacturer in Fresno, CA. I was an Account Representative serving as a liaison to the customer/sales team and the printing process including communicating the graphic needs to our graphics department. Eventually, I completed my time there as Manager Sales Support overseeing Customer Service, Scheduling, and an other small outsourcing department. Some of the accounts I was responsible for were ArmorAll, Mrs. Grossman's, and several other product label companies I can't recall. I worked their for 8 years learning all aspects of the printing industry including estimating and purchasing. Since then I have been exploring my capabilities in art, computers, and business in various ways.

Greetings! Since graduation, I have worked at several agencies, and then began my own business in 1998. I specialize in web & interactive design, but also create business identities and print collateral. I work with high-tech and services business in the San Francisco bay area and beyond. Never one to sit still for too long, I have been learning and exploring new technologies to express myself including editing, motion graphics, and 3D/vfx for film post production. In my spare time, I am involved with the Digital Matte Team at Pixel Corps working on some film trailers and other projects. I also am a long-time supporter of our rainforest conservation group (rainforest.org), and just visited one of our projects in Ecuador.

Worked my way through grad school as a photo printer and then as a museum installation tech at various bay area venues. Received an MFA in spatial arts from SJSU in 95 and left for Missoula, MT shortly after. Was adjunct assitant professor of sculpture at UM for 3.5 years. Now work out of my home studio doing assemblage and fabrication. I also teach MSF motorcycle riding classes and get in at least one good tour on my Triumph every summer.

For the last three years, I've been working for Humboldt State University as the campus photographer. It's a very satisfying job and it keeps me hopping. Before this gig, I worked at an advertising agency as a graphic designer and photographer. About three years out of school, I got a job at the Modesto Bee and worked my way up from a lab technician to a graphic designer. I was there for seven years. Outside work, I spend a lot of time with my Hasselblad in and around Humboldt county.
