I've been working as a graphic designer for UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento for about 15 years. I live in Dixon and have a small freelance design and illustration business. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to illustrate 2 children's books and I've got 4-5 more in the works. I've been married for 15 years to my wife Jodi and we have two children, Eric and Kelsey. When there's time, I love to ride dirt bikes with my kids, play golf and travel. I owe a lot to the fantastic education that I got at Cal Poly and wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

After I graduated from Cal Poly, I moved to the Bay Area and shot stats for a year (does anyone ever remember what those are!?). Then I worked for a small graphic design firm for 4 years. In 1993 I started a graphic design and photography business with my sister who is a photographer. We still have our business in San Francisco and do a lot of Foundation, Nonprofit and Event material design. A few of our clients are: San Francisco Ballet, Tides Foundation, Audubon California, Covenant Aviation, The Willie Brown Institute, San Francisco Office of Protocol, etc.

I've been living in San Mateo for close to twenty years and have been working for a publishing company for the last 8. At CMP Media, I design all the marketing materials for 5 hi-tech magazines. I go to France every year, and have been trying to move there for a long time, and even had 2 job offers there, but was unable to get the correct paperwork. I loved my years at Cal-Poly and still go down to San Luis Obispo to visit my one friend who was lucky enough to find work and stay there.

I am still sole proprietor of a small design studio which specializes in custom interface design, graphics and applications. Am looking to close out the year with a fairly high visibility interface design project for Logitech (maker of computer peripherals: keyboards, mice, cameras, etc). Also am getting ready to move to Campbell in the south Bay Area. Slightly larger space, location closer to home, and new carpet. A new installation was built for this year but I have yet to get pix posted. I am married to another alum -- Jonna Rossi, ('88, formerly Bridges).

Currently working as Director of Marketing for Aspen Technology- a software company that provides engineering, manufacturing and supply chain enterprise applications for the process industries (oil & gas, refining, chemicals & pharmaceuticals). My job has given me the opportunity to travel through all of Asia, India and Australia in addition to Europe and Latin America. I lead a team of 4 US based marcom staff (2 in Houston with me, 2 based in our Boston office) and a team of 4 in Europe (1 in the UK, 3 in Barcelona, Spain).
