Upon graduation, I married another Cal Poly alum, Joe Boylan (BA in Graphic Communications '86). Having been employed in the Northwest at corporate giants Nike and Jantzen Swimwear as an apparel graphic designer I branched out to design for Adidas, Avia, and Columbia Sportswear as a freelance designer. Eventually unfulfilled with my career in 1994, I transitioned to a studio environment and for the past decade or so I have mixed my time with creating fine art and raising my 2 children. I participate in many juried art shows and hold memberships in a few art societies and participate yearly with Portland Open Studios regional tour. Visit my website for a quick portfolio review!

Having been in one of the last classes to work without the aid of computers, I created print design with a pica pole and a waxer until about 1990 - primarily for entertainment. In 1995, I made the transition to broadcast design, creating on-air graphics for ABC, Fox and other broadcast and cable networks. I have a small studio in Los Angeles, where I've produced graphics and graphic packages for several cable series (Sunday Morning Shootout, Spying on Myself, American Dad) and a few independent films, most notably "Wonderland", starring Val Kilmer. And you'd figure I'd have a website up by now ...
