In the great John Mendenhall tradition, I wrote and designed a book about 1960's gift wrap. Chronicle Books is publishing the 258 page book early in 2005.

After graduating I worked in window displays at a major department store in LA, then moved on to a packaging design firm in Orange County where I worked on packaging for Hunt-Wesson foods, Swiss Miss, Orville Redenbacher, and others. Moved back to home-base in the Bay Area (Walnut Creek), with husband, Sandy, where he started practicing medicine. I worked as a free-lance designer for a while, but later stopped to give my two children my full attention. Through the years I have used my design skills to do miscellaneous logos, large scenery and set designs for the kids' schools, various arts and crafts projects, and whatever else that comes along that sounds like fun, or needs a creative person to get it going.

I've been a little out of it lately. After graduation I went back to Lodi, California and worked for the local discount furniture outlet making simple black and white newspaper ads. From there things got worse and I ended up in real estate in Montecito, California and doing quite well if I may say so myself.
